Fantastic! I added several different spices to the chicken and a clove of garlic, these enchiladas were the best ever. We have a couple of other enchilada recipes in our cookbook and we will be placing them with this little gem. I also did not add the sauce to the enchiladas until after cooking them. I cooked them for 15 mins and added the cheese and baked for 5 mins. When I plated them, then I poured the sauce on them. I do not like soggy tortillas. Baking them without the sauce gives them a nice crunchy egde. I enjoyed them much better the second time around doing it my way. But overall, these are great!

I cannot wait to try this recipe this week - and yes, I agree with Run for Your Life, about the comment regarding "canned soups"...those aren't recipes :) has anyone tried freezing these? I like to make extra's for those days when I'm not in the mood to fuss over dinner and wondering if they can be frozen? Deb

I've been looking for a good sour cream chicken enchilada recipe and this was it. I used corn tortillas instead of flour just because of personal preference. I made it once as is and the next time I put a can of Rotel in the chicken. Either way is great!!!

Soo good! My family was a bit skeptical when they sauce the sauce at the bottom of the pan but overall most of them liked it

These are so easy to make and they are so good! I swapped the green chili peppers with some chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, just because that's what I had in the refrigerator, so mine might be a bit hotter than the original recipe. These are awesome either way!! Got raving reviews from my family.

I did really enjoy this recipe but I am glad that I added some taco sauce to each enchilada before rolling them up.
Next time I think I'll add some chopped up roasted peppers to the mix.
Definitely glad I tried this recipe :)
Really good!

Delish! I used leftover chicken and light cheese and light sour cream. I also used whole wheat tortillas -- delish and easy to make these lighter changes. Thanks for sharing!

We were shocked how good this was! The only modifications I made were I used whole wheat tortillas (all the regular flour ones tended to have a lot of artificial ingredients and hydrogenated oils) and added spinach inside and tomatoes on top (wanted to add a little more veggies in there). I also served with yellow rice on the side. It was amazing! We are excited to have the left overs tonight!

Good and this has potential. The sauce was waaaay too sour creamy tho! Next time, I know to cut back on the sour cream :)

A very good dish. We will add this to our rotation as a way to use up cooked chicken.

I was looking over the receipe contemplating trying it this evening. I see in the picure, it appears a green chili is inside the enchilada; however, the receipe does not say to put the green chilis on the inside. Hummmmm.

This was absolutely the best! I had eaten sour cream enchiladas at a popular Mexican restaurant in Oklahoma while living there and thought they were good. This recipe has those beat. This recipe has the home confort food appeal! My four year old couldn't get enough. Thanks for the recipe. I will be making these agan for sure.

We loved these! Thanks so much! I made the recipe exactly as stated. Next time I'll use more chicken. I forgot to spray my pan with non stick spray but it didn't stick anyways.
