This was amazing I loved it! The only thing I added was cayenne to give it a little kick and it worked well with soy milk too!

Loved this! Served it at a holiday party and it was a hit. Just a bit too sweet for me, so I might reduce the sugar by 1/2-1 T next time. Great with a little splash of peppermint schnapps, too!

Loved it! Made this for Comfort Cafe, and out of all the hot chocolates we've made this far, this one is my son's favorite. Thanks for the great recipe!

I made only one cup and I am enjoying it very much. I didn't have authentic mexican ingredients and I didn't garnish with the cinnamon stick. Using the serving adjustment to 1 serving, I think the chocolate needs to be reduced by an ounce (from 3 oz down to two). This is still very good and probably better made exact. I really wish I had some whipped cream!!! Thank you Sharon123!!!

Reviewed for ZWT III. I loved this hot chocolate! With the exception of the cinnamon, this is pretty much how we have it at home when we're feeling a little indulgent! I used Ecuadorian bitter chocolate as I couldn't get anything else. We LOVED the addition of the cinnamon - especially as it's one of my fave spices anyway. :)

I made this for *Zaar World Tour III* - I didn't have Mexican chocolate or Mexican vanilla so I used what was in the pantry and I used lactose free milk. The hot chocolate was very rich but very yummy, perfect night cap. Thank you Sharon123

Another F-F-F-Fabulous recipe from my soul sister! Made this for breakfast this morning as part of the *ZWT 3 Mexican Challenge* and it really HIT-THE-SPOT! Skipped the cinnamon stick garnish, but did everything else as written, and would only be able to describe as Floozeriffic! KEEPER!

Very yummy! I scaled the recipe to one cup, scalded the milk in the microwave, and used the blender to combine with the other ingredients which is quite effective since Mexican chocolate is so grainy. Used Abuelita chocolate and left out the sugar, though if semi-sweet is used you'd probably need it. Thanks, Sharon, for sharing the recipe!

Wonderful and so rich! I made only one serving using 25 g of very dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids) and a scant 1/2 ts of cinnamon. A touch of salt and vanilla rounds the taste out perfectly. Mmm... Very good! Thanks for posting!

This is so rich and creamy even when I cheated. I made this using fat free milk that was fortified with powdered milk for added richness without the fat. I then frothed some milk to top off the steaming chocolate and sprinkled a few chocolate shavings on top. It is a delicious and relaxing drink for late nights.

I love the taste of Mexican Chocolate! I didn't have the need to add the extra sugar but the Vanilla is a perfect touch to the spiciness of the Chocolate (Yes Vanilla was purchased last trip to Mexico!) I also used low fat milk. Thank you Sharon for great recipe to end the evening by :))
