Layered Nacho Dip

- 2 (907.18 g) can refried beans
- 127.57 g can chopped green chilies, undrained
- 35.43 g sachet taco seasoning
- 226.79 g shredded cheese
- 226.79 g prepared guacamole
- 226.79 g sour cream
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 113.39 g chopped olives
- 1 large tomatoes, diced
directions
- Stir the first 3 ingredients together: spread inot a greased 11 x7 inch baking tray.
- Bake at 350oF for 25 minutes, or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 5 minutes more. (or microwave this step).
- Spread the guacamole over the cheese. Spread the sour cream over the guacamole.
- Top evenly with green onions, olives and tomato.
- Serve warm with corn or tortilla chips.

All diners raved over this recipe! I made a half recipe using one can of fat free refried beans. I added shredded lettuce & garnished with chopped cilantro. There were far more than 5 dip size servings. We used the extra for to make burritoes the next day. This would be a nice dip for Game Day or a tailgating party. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

My Poppy has long since passed, but I fondly remember him every time I log on. I'm a stay at home mum of four aged: 10, 8, 7 and almost 6. I have a severe egg allergy and am lactose intolerant, I enjoy working out ways to still enjoy food minus eggs and milk. I have been married for 14 years and have one very happy and well fed hubby.<br />My goal is to try one new recipe a week, for the past 8 years have achieved this. I own over 300 cookbooks, but no longer purchase them - but regularly print out recipes to try later.<br />When I am not cooking, I am busy household of 6 and going to the gym (to work off the wonderful calories I consumed the day before) and helping at school and church.<br />My philosophy in life is: as we have to eat, we may as well eat well.</p>
