My husband and I really enjoyed these. I forgot to put the cilantro in them, and did not have any mushrooms, but they were still delicious and the flavor was amazing. I sauteed the onions with one garlic clove, and added onion powder and about 2 tbsp. medium salsa. I would definitely make these burgers again, thanks for sharing :)

We really enjoyed these a healthy meal. Depending on the size of the chipolte pepper you use, these can get pretty spicy quickly. Next time I won't pull out the biggest pepper in the can. :) We combined this with a mexican coleslaw which helped calm the spice a bit. Definetly will make again!

My wife said it was one of the best burgers she has ever had, and I agree. I also had no trouble getting the patties to stay together.

We loved this recipe! I thought it had the perfect amount of chipotle. I didn't have any trouble getting the burgers to stay in one piece; I used a potato masher to break the beans up a bit, and the burgers easily formed patties. We used cheddar cheese on the top, but I think these burgers would be really good without any cheese, too. Thanks for posting this; I know I'll be making it again.

These had good flavor, but they didn't hold together well enough to remove nicely from the indoor grill I used. If I make them again, I will add some breadcrumbs, like the other recipes called for. Also, I added some chopped cilantro, for extra Tex-Mex flavor.
