Made this using fresh pineapple & slightly less than half a jalapeno chile (along with, of course, the rest of the ingredients!) & found this to be a wonderfully tasty salsa! Thanks for posting the recipe! [Tagged & made in Please Review My Recipe]

I found this salsa a bit too sweet for my taste, so I added more lime juice. I forgot (oops) to buy cilantro, so I added a pinch of oregano to add a little "herby" taste. What I liked most about it, is that it could be a great start to a ceviche-type salad by adding some seafood to it, maybe shrimp or whitefish chunks..yum. Thank you moma! Made for ZWT5 & Dining Daredevils.

What a delicious salsa! I've never made my own before and I'm glad I tried this one. I've also never had jicama before and love the crunch it adds. The balance of sweet and spicy is just right. Made for Jammin' Java Jivers, ZWT5.

This was a great, but simple salsa. I think combo of cilantro and pineapple really makes this one special. I agree with Kim in that this would be great on fish. I tried this all along the way as it was being made and once I added the cilantro (although I am not a lover of cilantro), I went WOW, this is good. Thanks! Made for Las Mistico Magicos Sirenas ZWT5, Salsa Challenge.

Ohh, the pineapple was a great flavor here!! Loved it with white corn tortilla chips and I really think it would go well with a grilled fish (swordfish). Congrats on a great recipe Cooks with Dirty Faces!! Gracias!! Made for Las Mistico Magicos Sirenas - ZWT5.

What a great combo. I used pickled jalapenos. You still have the heat and added bonus of a little of the juice from them for an added tang. I love jicama, and it's always in the house, and had cans and cans of pineapple in the pantry when I took advantage of a 10 for 10 sale at the market. So this went together very quickly and was eaten the same way! Thanks for posting, momaphet. Good to see you again! Made for ZWT5

Good salsa! I was leery about the jicama and cucumber, but pleasantly surprised! They added a nice crunch without being overwhelming. I added some cumin for spice and a mango for some added sweetness. Made for ZWT 5.
