  1. I feel like this is one of the most delicious things I have ever put in my mouth. Oh. My. Word. I even made it with all non-fat yogurt, and without the parsley because I didn't have any, and it is still incredibly good. I let it sit in my fridge for a day before eating any of it, and it got very thick and the flavors melded beautifully.

  2. This was a flavorful, fresh-tasting recipe. I used low fat yogurt and sour cream and it was still creamy and thick. I also used a bit less cilantro than the recipe called for but the cilantro flavor still came through. I served this on roasted vegetables and jasmine rice. Very refreshing.

  3. A nice recipe for a summer salad. Make it more low cal and low carb with low fat sour cream and no fat yogurt. A recipe that would work well with a variety of herbs such as lemon basil, chives, etc.

  4. A good way to use left over cilantro from other recipes. Very zesty!

  5. I love this salad dressing. I made up a version of it, trying to copy El Torito's Mexican Caesar Salad. One trick i've learned is that in a rush you can substitute bottled ranch dressing for the other ingredients; just blend it up with the cilantro and maybe a squeeze of lime or garlic juice.

I live in the beautiful state of South Carolina and have lived here all of my life.I am a police officer and I work in a mid-sized city which comes along with big city stress, so to relieve this stress I took up gardening. I now have an absolutely gorgeous garden with approxamately 30 different kinds of fruits and veggies and it has become my passion. I have always enjoyed cooking but now I can experiment all of the time with the foods I've grown!
