- 8 dried small red chilies, left whole
- 946.0 ml vodka
directions
- Put the chiles in the bottle of vodka.
- Let the vodka sit for a week.
- At the end of the week, taste the vodka.
- Is it hot enough: If hot enough, strain out the peppers and use the vodka.
- If not hot enough, return to shelf.

Still in West Virginia but we've moved a few miles away, down to the county capitol. It's a compromise: bigger than our last town but smalelr than the "big city" of Cumberland MD, right up the road. Jobs are not that plentiful here so I am fortunate to be able to work at home (I'm a writer).
