I was happy to see this when I was searching for ways to use ground beef. I however am elated to finally resolve the tacos vs hamburger debate my 4 children have on a regular basis. There was peace at the family table that night. (Thank you, Thank you!!)

My kids really enjoyed these fun, easy tacos. I was out of green onions, so sub'd chopped white onion and added a couple of garlic cloves to the meat. The sauce was tangy. I still prefer regular tacos, but this is good when you want something different and definitely a kid-pleaser. Thanks for posting.

I melted the cheese with the beef, but next time I'm going to sprinkle it on top like the directions said. Would make again.

I made these for my husband tonight. He enjoyed them, but he tried hard shells & then soft ones-preferred the soft tortillas. I didn't use any liquid smoke & used onion powder for the onions. He added some pickles, too, and used reduced fat mexican cheese. I used lean ground turkey & turkey bacon to cut down on fat & calories. Thank you for sharing!

This went over well with the kids; I had one myself. I have to say that I prefer taco-flavoured tacos. The kids accepted this though, as soon as they heard what the title was. Wait til I tell them there's mustard in the sauce.:)

Yummmy! These were the first tacos we've had in ages and we thouroughly enjoyed them!!The taste was very much like a cheeseburger with a nice little bite. The sauce was excellent. I was out of green onions but had some red onion I used, also didn't have any liquid smoke, I don't think it made too much difference not having it. We used sharp cheddar and really liked the idea of quickly melting it in the microwave, it also made the tacos less "crackable" and easier to eat but they still had a good crunch. We will be making these again, thanks for sharing a good one.
